To say 2020 is tough in the wedding industry so far is an understatement. In the midst of Covid-19, all plans have been put on halt, wedding dates are postponed to an uncertain date which will in turn affect future plans. Financial difficulties will kick in as well due to loss of income. I believe this not only happen in this industry but affects the rest too. Not forgetting the frontline healthcare workers as well as they are overwhelmed and exhausted by the unexpected happening.
Being a wedding photographer myself, I can really feel for all the couples out there who are affected by this as they have been spending such a long time and effort in planning for their big day. Being close to many of them, I can see that they are struggling to make the difficult decisions as many weddings and events have to be canceled or postponed. We are all lost and unsure as we wonder where to find the answers to our uncertainties.
However this is not the end of the world and we are all in this together although it’s not going to be easy. It's important to be kind to each other and stay united as we brave through this global pandemic together. The world is working through it all and we should stay positive and chin up! @ JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach
